Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Branding & Communications Lead to join our team and take ownership of creating and managing our e-commerce store. As a Full-Stack Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining both the front-end and back-end components of our e-commerce platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturers and logistics providers, to ensure seamless integration and efficient operations
Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and maintaining a robust and user-friendly e-commerce store.
- Collaborating with designers and stakeholders to implement responsive and visually appealing user interfaces.
- Building secure and scalable back-end systems to handle customer transactions, inventory management, and order processing.
- Integrating the e-commerce platform with third-party systems, including manufacturers and logistics providers, to streamline operations.
- Implementing secure payment gateways and ensuring PCI compliance.
- Optimizing website performance and responsiveness to provide a smooth shopping experience.
- Conducting thorough testing and debugging to identify and fix issues promptly.
- Monitoring website analytics and generating reports to track key performance indicators.
- Staying up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to suggest improvements and innovative solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer, ideally with expertise in e-commerce development.
- Strong knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).
- Proficiency in server-side programming languages such as Python, Node.js, or PHP.
- Experience with popular e-commerce platforms (e.g., Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce) and customizing them to meet specific business requirements.
- Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and writing efficient database queries.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience with API integrations.
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
